WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament for the coalition party MAN, Elsa Rozendal has again sent a letter to the Minister of Traffic and Transport Zita Jesus-Leito about the traffic situation on the Caracasbaaiweg.
According to Rozendal, many drivers complain about the daily traffic jam. “The daily delay is also detrimental to our economy,” according to the Member of Parliament. According to her, the government must work on a solution.
There were several plans in the past, including an alternative route via Curaçao Seaquarium, but several environmental organizations objected this plan because the proposed road went right through the Janthiel salt flats.
What the solution may be is still unknown.
