Rozendal switches to the Democratic Party

Local | By Correspondent January 4, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - Elsa Rozendal has switched to the Democratic Party. Last month, the former MAN politician broke with her party and resigned as a Member of Parliament for the blue party.

The reason for her switch is that she feels that the COVID era needs a different policy than what her party in the coalition is able to achieve. Especially in the economic field.

Rozendal thinks that this is more likely within the 75-year-old Democratic party which currently has no seat in parliament and no representation in government.

Earlier, former Member of Parliament for the now opposition party MFK Dean Rozier joined the red party, which was unable to get a single seat in Curaçao after 10-10-10.
