Rule on mandatory quarantine for an extended stay

Local | By Correspondent October 6, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - Starting Tuesday, October 6, 2020, travelers who come to Curaçao from high-risk countries and who will stay a minimum of three months on the island will have to go in mandatory quarantine just like everyone else.

But in this case, the person is not obligated to stay at the assigned location for mandatory quarantine but at a place where this person is staying (either he/she owns the place or is just renting). The person must be able to demonstrate the duration of his/her stay to the authorities at the airport.

To receive a permit to travel to Curaçao, the person must apply through the website www.gobiernu.cw/reisverificatie.
