WILLEMSTAD - The Advisory Council (RvA) received a record number of requests for urgent advice in 2020. This is what the RvA writes in its annual report for 2020.
Last year, the council processed no fewer than 46 requests for advice from the government and parliament. 26 of these were requests for emergency advice. The RvA considers the situation to be undesirable. An excessive number of requests for urgent advice can affect the quality of the advice given, according to the RvA.
