WILLEMSTAD - Last Thursday night a Metal Shark team from the Coast Guard saw a suspicious sailboat during a patrol in the vicinity of Spaanse Water. On board the team met two undocumented Venezuelan men. The men were taken to the Steunpunt and the sailboat was towed to the Steunpunt Curaçao (Coast Guard headquarters).
Upon further investigation on the sailboat by the coast guards and customs, bags of suspected XTC pills and narcotics were found. The two men and the drugs were handed over to the Curaçao Police Force.
