WILLEMSTAD - Over the next four years, civil servants at the ministries, ministers and Members of Parliament will not see an increase in their salaries. Their salaries will be frozen and not adjusted to the price level.
Minister of Government Service, Armin Konket says that this austerity measure is part of the Growth Strategy.
The Financial Supervision Council (CFT) has also recommended freezing salaries in order to control government spending.
