WILLEMSTAD - Santa María 1 is a replica of the Santa María, the flagship and supply ship of Christopher Columbus who discovered America in 1492.
This “pirate” ship is made of steel and powered by diesel engines. It is a brand-new ship which was recently built in Brazil for the new owner who lives in the Dominican Republic and where the delivery will take place here on our Dushi island of Curacao.
