WILLEMSTAD - Schools start again today for the first time this year. The Christmas holidays lasted 1.5 weeks longer this year due to the advance of the omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus. This was announced during the press conference on January 6. Then the Minister of Education also said that the extra days will be compensated with the carnival holidays.
