WILLEMSTAD - Are you 60 years or older? Then you can get a second booster shot from tomorrow. This injection is available after advice from the Dutch Health Council. According to the local Ministry of Health, relatively many people in their sixties are currently infected with the corona virus.
In addition to those in their sixties, people in nursing homes, people with down syndrome and people with a serious immune disorder are also allowed to get a fourth shot. By offering this group an extra shot, they are better protected against the virus.
Like the Netherlands, Curaçao follows the advice of the Health Council not to offer healthy people under the age of 60 an injection.
The vaccination center at the outpatient clinic of the Sehos is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can make an appointment via telephone number 9345 or via the website www.bakuna.cw. People over sixty and anyone who falls into the risk group can get a fourth shot without an appointment.
