WILLEMSTAD - The second construction phase of the new Corendon Hotel has come to a standstill. 450 rooms will be realized in that phase, but the company has run out of money. So says owner Atilay Uslu.
It is a temporary construction freeze due to the corona crisis. The money that is now being made must be spent wisely to stay afloat. Corendon has two hotels/resorts on Curaçao.
Both run very well due to the exception to the negative travel advise in the Netherlands.
