"Security plan must be adapted to changes in tourism"

Local | By Correspondent January 21, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - The new shifts in the tourism industry require a better safety plan. This is according to the CEO of the Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association (CHATA) Miles Mercera.

CHATA wants a cooperation with the government to make the island as a whole safer. This is because more and more tourists want to explore the island on their own rather than stay at the hotel. Rental cars and popular places on the island must become safer to make this new way of holiday more attractive in Curaçao.
