WILLEMSTAD - Selikor will soon commence cleaning operations on the main roads in various neighborhoods, as announced by the waste management company in a press release on Friday.
The cleaning activities will be conducted in several phases. Phase 1 will cover neighborhoods in the upper part of Curaçao, from Seru Machu to Santa Rosa, encompassing 29 neighborhoods and 46 plots.
According to Selikor, cleaning of main roads occurs throughout the year, but within neighborhoods, this happens only once annually. The waste management company kindly requests motorists to be mindful of workers operating along the roadside and to reduce speed in areas where work is underway.
The operations are expected to last a total of three months, with subsequent phases to follow. Selikor has not disclosed specific dates for these subsequent phases.
