WILLEMSTAD - The Social Economic Council (SER) doubts the effect of adjusting the closing times of stores on the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The store closure is part of the Emergency Act.
The SER thinks that the earlier closure of stores actually leads to busy times when they are open. The measure also has enormous economic consequences for retailers. The SER hopes that this decision will be reconsidered, especially in view of the crowds before the holidays.
