WILLEMSTAD - Last night a serious accident took place on the Weg naar Wespunt near the landfill. Two people were seriously injured in an accident between two cars. An initial investigation shows that one of the cars ended up on the wrong side of the road. As a result, the cars collided head-on. Both persons were taken to the CMC hospital by ambulance.
The road to Westpunt was closed by the police after the accident until the cars could be removed and the road cleaned.
