WILLEMSTAD - Many companies in the hotel sector have not yet received the May money through the NOW scheme. This is according to the Director of the Curaçao Hotel and Tourism Association (CHATA) Miles Mercera.
This makes the situation for the hotels even more difficult. They hope to receive guests again in July, but there are many concerns about the payment of the NOW scheme for employees. Especially because the money for June is also desperately needed.
