WILLEMSTAD - Inspectors from the police and fire brigade closed several shops at the end of last week. They did this together with officials from the ministries of Economic Development and Public Health.
That happened during an inspection in Bandabou. Some stores did not adhere to closing times or did not meet hygiene requirements.
In some cases, the owners received a warning, but several others had to close their doors.
