WILLEMSTAD - Imagine the luck of this tourist. A cruise tourist fed her fingers to a shark instead of a few fish. She did that by accident. The woman lost her balance during the excursion at Animal Encounters.
Two fingers slipped through the feeding hole. The nurse shark bit her fingers. Fortunately, all her fingers are still intact. A nurse shark sucks in its prey. The cruise tourist was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The Seaquarium will now look into whether the safety measures need to be adjusted.
