WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) is struggling with a major shortage of staff. This is due to the increase in the number of corona patients in the hospital, but also to the loss of staff who have become ill themselves.
As a result, the pressure on healthcare is increasing. In the coming period, they will look at possible options for scaling up within the CMC. In addition, it may be that healthcare staff from the Netherlands or America will be flown in again.
