ORANJESTAD, KRALENDIJK - Yesterday in Aruba, 110 new cases of corona have been recorded, including 1 among non-residents. This increases the number of infections considerably. Nineteen people were found to be virus-free after quarantine or isolation. This means that the number of active infections on the island has risen to 429, of which 35 among non-residents. Since someone has died of corona again, the number of deaths since March now stands at fifty people. Thirteen corona patients are currently being cared for at Horacio Oduber Hospital, five of whom are in intensive care. 892 tests were conducted yesterday.
Twelve people on Bonaire tested positive for the 55 tests taken. The island today has 74 active cases of Covid-19. 160 people have recovered, and one corona patient has been hospitalized.
