WILLEMSTAD - Finance Minister Javier Silvania spoke with the directors of various government companies on Thursday. Together with employees of the ministry, he has also made an appointment to speak with actuary Laurens Keesen on 8 August.
Three points will be discussed in the meeting: the components of the top income standard, the duration of the transitional arrangement and the amount of the severance pay.
Based on this advice, the Silvania will adjust the amendment to the law. The law must then be approved by the Council of Ministers.
