WILLEMSTAD - Finance Minister Javier Silvania of the MFK party wants to meet the demands of the top officials with regard to the standardization of top incomes, provided they provide complete transparency.
Last week Silvania had a meeting with several top officials. Three points were discussed during the meeting: the components of the top income standard, the duration of the transitional arrangement and the amount of the severance pay. Silvania has indicated that he wishes to submit a memorandum of amendment for a reconsideration of the calculation of top incomes.
This change can only happen if there is complete transparency from the top officials and their companies. All their arguments must be based on facts and figures, this information must be provided before July 26. The recalculation will be done in collaboration with Keesen Actuarissen.
