WILLEMSTAD - Last Wednesday, sixteen businesses were closed by order of the Special Laws Unit.
The various businesses were closed because they were open at times when they were not allowed or were not allowed to be open at all. The checks took place on Wednesday between 10:30 am and 6:20 pm, the police announced today.
In addition, five fines have been issued. People were fined for violating the corona measures.
For example, the curfew was violated, hygiene measures were not observed and there were people in groups which is not allowed.
