WILLEMSTAD - The sixth edition of the Walking Dinner was a great success. This reports Rob Kouijzer, Rotary President. The event took place on November 30th and the funds raised will go to the youth of Curaçao.

The Walking Dinner started at Mr. Porter. For each course, the guests went to a different restaurant in Pietermaai. At each restaurant, guests were served a different specialty. The guests went to see Mr. Porter, Mundo Bizarro, Ginger, BijBlauw, Los Caballeros, Black Jack, Serafina, Obaar and Rozendael. In Europe Walking Dinners are organized by various Rotary Clubs. This was the sixth edition for Willemstad.

“It was great to see so many enthusiastic people together again. Not only to enjoy together in a culinary atmosphere, but above all to collect money for a good cause,” says Benno van Leeuwen, Rotary co-President and member of the Walking Dinner committee.
