WILLEMSTAD - The SDKK prison care department is suffering from a large staff shortage. It would take as many as 9 more people to have a full occupancy for the care department.
The SDKK has been struggling with personnel shortages for some time. The prison was criticized last month because they did not take care of a prison, Joamar Hoek, who suffered from a heart attack. The prisoner later died of the consequences.
