WILLEMSTAD - At least 20 roofs collapsed two nights in the storm that raged over the island. The fire brigade was busy cleaning up fallen trees all night.
Utility company Aqualectra also had its hands full. The particularly had a hard time with above-ground pipe installations. In 263 cases, technicians from the electricity company had to restore the power supply, especially on the western side of the island, Bandabou.
