WILLEMSTAD - As of Monday 24 August, the Curaçao Medical Center will have additional strict measures to protect our staff, our patients, and relatives of patients to prevent further spread of COVID-19. All appointments and treatments will take place as usual, but according to adjusted rules. If you have complaints, please contact your doctor, and do not come to the hospital.
General rules
• The entrance is only via the Pater Eeuwensweg (via the garage).
• The security of the CMC will check at the entrance whether the people in the car have an appointment. Only 1 person is allowed per patient.
• Adhere to the rules regarding hand hygiene and make sure you use your arm when coughing.
• Adhere to the rules regarding keeping a social distance at least 2 meters
• Everyone who visits the hospital is registered. This also applies to patients and visitors (Maximum 1 visitor per patient).
Rules that patients must adhere to:
• Patients who come to the hospital in connection with an appointment and who need support, can come with a maximum of 1 person. (This person must be over 18 and preferably a family member).
• They must be present 30 minutes before the start of the appointment, as the new rules must be taken into account.
• In an emergency, you can use the north entrance (Hamelbergweg / Rodeweg).
• If you must come to the hospital for urgent reasons and suffer from high body temperature or cough, you are obliged to wear a mouth mask.
Rules by which visitors to patients must adhere:
• Only one (1) visitor per patient is allowed. This visitor is the only person who can visit during the patient's stay.
• Visitors under the age of 17 are not allowed.
• Visiting hours are only between 12:00 PM and 13:00 PM.
• There is strict control when it comes to enforcing visiting hours
