WILLEMSTAD - Last week, a school filed a complaint against a student who showed "inappropriate images" during an online class. The minor has been heard by the police and the case is still under investigation.
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) and the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) reported this. They do not preclude multiple people from being involved.
In addition, images were distributed via social media last week showing how a boy was abused by a fellow student. The police have arrested two minors for this. This case is also still under investigation.
The Public Prosecution Service and KPC emphasize once again that the distribution of inappropriate or immoral images is punishable and can lead to imprisonment or juvenile detention.
