WILLEMSTAD - The students of Pedro Luis Brion School have received donations from guests of the Avila Beach Hotel. Via PackforaPurpose.org travelers could see which items they could take with them to support projects in Curaçao.
Guests of the hotel have brought various kinds of school supplies for the students. The Carmabi Foundation has also made a donation. They have given all their Coral Heroes children's books to the school.

According to the Avila Beach Hotel, the students can now also learn how to protect the coral. The books will also be used for workshops of the Educational Guidance Curaçao.
The Avila Beach Hotel has partnered with CriTi ICT Solutions to install computers at Pedro Luis Brion School. Computer lessons can also be given to the children.
“Tools such as interactive whiteboards, tablets and computers are an essential part of education and the internet is key for research. Integrating computers in education is no longer a luxury. Children should be digitally literate from an early age,” said the Avila Beach Hotel.
