WILLEMSTAD - Superyacht 'Blue Ice', which has been anchored off Santa Barbara for a few years, is up for auction. Santa Barbara itself has confiscated the boat because of unpaid mooring fees of more than $ 57,000. Every month USD 3,000 in mooring fees is added.
The vessel is owned by a company in the Marshall Islands. If that doesn't work out with Santa Barbara, the 'Blue Ice' will go under the hammer on March 5. A starting amount for the ship has not yet been determined. In 2015, the value was estimated at around $ 3.8 million.
