WILLEMSTAD, PARAMARIBO - Curaçaoans who travel to Suriname must pay an entrance fee of 25 dollars starting today. The country has introduced a new entry fee. This new measure replaces the visa requirement for family visits and tourist purposes. This is disadvantageous for Curaçao travelers.
Residents of Curaçao did not have to apply for a visa. Unlike travelers who live in the Netherlands. They also pay 25 euros to enter Suriname. Passengers can pay the fee at the airport.
