WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Justice and Police of Suriname Kenneth Amoksi would like to cooperate with Curaçao in the field of justice. Amoksi made this known during the working visit of Minister of Justice Shalten Hato to Suriname.
The Surinamese minister has indicated that he wants to strengthen the ties between Curaçao and Suriname. Amoksi would like to receive knowledge and experiences from Curaçao about the reorganization processes of the police force. In addition, Suriname wants to share information about the training and reorganization of the prison.
Hato and Amoksi have made agreements to maintain contact with the leadership of the force. In addition, the ministers have agreed to intensify contact between the security services.
