An investigation conducted by KPC and RST
WILLEMSTAD - According to the Public Prosecution Service (OM), a twenty-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 as part of the Inex 2.0 investigation. The man is suspected of involvement in the drug robbery from the Rio Canario police station. The man was arrested early in the morning by the arrest team. Due to the great importance and impact of the case, the investigative team in which members of the KPC and the RST work together are still intensively investigating the theft that took place in the night of 13 to 14 October 2018.
The investigation team does not rule out the possibility that more arrests will follow. The arrested man is behind bars and will be presented to the examining magistrate this Friday. In the interest of the investigation, no further announcements can be made at this time.
