WILLEMSTAD - A 33-year-old man has been sentenced to a year in prison and a hundred hours of community service for selling drugs to Dutch soldiers. The suspect received orders for cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy pills via Whatsapp.
The man's name was revealed during the investigation. Drugs were found during a search. The dealer's phone was also seized. Several videos of drugs were found that the man sent to the military via Whatsapp. They then passed on their order.
The suspect delivered drugs three times a week to the Parera naval base and Zanzibar. The dealer pleaded guilty. He told the judge that he desperately needed the money at the time and not to lead a luxurious life.
