WILLEMSTAD - The three officers who had 25 students of Marnix College undress for a thorough investigation must appear in court on Thursday. The case will then be handled pro forma.
The Public Prosecution Service had instructed the National Investigation Team to investigate the case. It was established from this that there was no legal basis whatsoever for the check.
Last week, three of the seven officers involved in the case returned to work. They were suspended in September last year, but do not have to go to court because they have not committed any criminal offences.
A fourth officer is being disciplined because he was at the one in charge but did not perform the body checks.
