WILLEMSTAD - The murder of Norris Teodosio Rosa, who was found dead in a well on September 15, has been virtually solved. The police have arrested three people.
The man had been missing for several days by then. After an unpleasant smell was reported near Kaminda George Willems, at the Curaçao Festival Center, Rosa's lifeless body was removed from the well.
A rock was tied to both feet. The body showed injuries that indicate assault. The victim's face was severely disfigured.
Police arrested three suspects on Sunday. It concerns three men from Haiti, aged 51, 55 and 60 years. The men reside legally in Curaçao.
The arrests took place at West Ronde Klip, kaya Leonard "Leo" Renaud and at the Montana police station. Police confiscated three phones. The suspects have been arraigned and the prosecutor has ordered their arrest during the investigation.
