WILLEMSTAD - The Sustainable Dutch Caribbean foundation has launched the new Future Islands platform. This platform wants to accelerate the sustainability of the Caribbean Netherlands by developing and sharing knowledge. After that, the platform wants to communicate inspiring examples and organize events to connect people and organizations.
The platform is independent and is supported by partners and experts with a passion for sustainability and innovation. There are five main themes. The main themes are sustainability, circular economy, smart mobility, smart workplace and social improvement. According to the organization, it will publish new articles on their site daily.
Content creators from the six islands and the Netherlands write and publish articles on the platform. In addition, various business developers are recruiting partners.
The initiators of the platform are André Hagendijk, Wietse Walinga and Wim Kooyman.
