WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, 27 November 2025, the Swedish Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. Julius Liljeström, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Mauritsz de Kort.
Also present at the meeting were Ms. Lisanne Asjes, Honorary Consul of Sweden in Willemstad, and Ms. Darryllin van der Veen, Director of the Directorate of Foreign Relations of Curaçao.
The visit served to strengthen diplomatic ties and reaffirm the longstanding relationship between Sweden and Curaçao as part of the wider Kingdom of the Netherlands.
