WILLEMSTAD - The government and the old hospital SEHOS are discussing the outstanding accounts of the foundation. SEHOS still has a debt of about 40 million guilders.
The government has little interest in pardoning the debt. However, the Ministers of Finance and Health see an opportunity to participate as a shareholder in the new activities of the foundation. The Sint Elisabeth District must become a multifunctional center where tourism, living and culture come together.
