WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s tax revenue performance in 2025 significantly exceeded projections, signaling continued economic resilience, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Income tax revenues came in Cg 17.8 million higher than forecast, while profit tax exceeded expectations by Cg 18.0 million. Turnover tax receipts rose by nearly Cg 16 million, reflecting increased consumption and import activity.
Transfer taxes and inheritance taxes also performed strongly, pointing to sustained activity in the real estate market.
The Ministry cautions, however, that several monthly distortions were caused by delayed tax settlements and cyber-related disruptions at the Tax Department, meaning short-term fluctuations may not fully reflect underlying trends.
