WILLEMSTAD - The Tax and Customs Administration grants a massive deferment of payment. In September, the tax authorities granted almost 10,000 payment breaks. About half of these were withdrawn after processing.
The Tax and Customs Administration continues to receive large numbers of new objections. This is partly due to the writs sent for the overdue assessments of the sales tax (OB) and wage tax that were imposed in the second half of 2021 and the first half of 2022.
