WILLEMSTAD - Teachers gathered for the fourth day at the trade union building this morning to protest. Last week they took the streets and temporarily blocked the Schottegatweg towards the intersection of Biesheuvel.
They even made it an entire happing by bringing a brass band, to the Ministry of Education in the Bon Bini Business Center.
The teachers want better hygiene in schools and the Minister's response to 13 points that must be improved.
Even the Ministry of Education decided to close its doors in connection with the tensions surrounding the strike. The minister announced that personnel was then intimidated, and this went so far that the situation became dangerous. The police had to come and the office was closed that Friday afternoon. They are open again today.
