WILLEMSTAD - A team from the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) inspection team has inspected the Centrum Supermarket at Mahaai today. The MEO has done this as a result of a video that was posted on social media these days. The video has gone viral and causing several people to complain about the supermarket.
The video shows a customer removing stickers from products such as cheese. Under the stickers is another sticker with an expiration date in the past such as December 2018.
The consumer association has also responded with indignation.
The MEO will check the way in which things are being done at the supermarket. They also said not to exclude other supermarkets and mini markets.
