PHILIPSBURG - Ten new corona infections were registered on Sint Maarten on Thursday. That was announced by Minister of Health Richard Panneflek on Thursday night. With this, fifteen new infections were registered in three days. According to Panneflek, this mainly concerns local infections, but in three cases it concerns infections that can be related to travel.
Since the start of the global pandemic, 94 infections have been registered on Sint Maarten, 63 people have recovered. There are still 16 active cases. In total, fifteen people died with a corona infection.
