Terrence Agard sponsored by ENNIA until after the 2024 Olympics

Local | By Press release February 25, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - Terrence Agard, Olympic silver medalist 400m relay (2021), will be sponsored by ENNIA until after the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. This gives Terrence the freedom to focus on his many athletics competitions in the 400m and 4x400m relay events.

Terrence Agard, together with Liemarvin Bonevacia, Tony van Diepen and Ramsey Angela, forms a successful team of athletes. They would like to continue the success achieved in Tokyo in the coming years. During the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Terrence had set the second fastest time of the entire field of participants (43.76 seconds). Only the American Rai Benjamin was ahead of him. After the race, Terrence stated that he put his heart and soul into that race.

ENNIA supports Terrence Agard with his preparations and competition program on his way to the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. For this year, these are the Dutch National Indoor Championships in February, the Indoor World Cup Belgrade in March, the World Cup in Oregon in July, the European Cup in August in Munich and in October the Odesur Games in Chile.

Lesley-Ann Harms-Brodie, CEO of ENNIA: “We are extremely proud that with this partnership we can contribute to the performance of Terrence and indirectly to his Relay team. His commitment and international achievements are a good example for all of us. It gives us hope and pride. Together with his team, he beautifully puts the Caribbean part of the Kingdom in the spotlight. We can only achieve this together by giving Terrence the confidence that the home front is behind him.”
