WILLEMSTAD - The coffee roastery Carib-Bean is thrilled to announce its launch. The roastery is based in Promenade shopping center and is the in-house roaster of “De Dames”. The company is dedicated to bringing unique flavors from around the world to coffee lovers and changing the way people enjoy their favorite brew.
“We are thrilled to bring our passion and knowledge of coffee to the Caribbean,” said Nick de Miranda, co- founder and Operational director of Carib-Bean. “Our philosophy is the belief that great coffee should not only delight the senses but also be sourced and produced in an environmentally conscious manner.”
With this in mind, the roastery has selected the highest quality coffee beans from small, independent farmers worldwide, ensuring fair trade practices and supporting local communities. Carib-Bean's sustainable coffee collection proudly showcases a fusion of flavors from Colombia, Brazil, Nicaragua, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, and more. By combining beans from diverse regions, Carib-Bean creates a rich, full-bodied, and flavorful coffee experience. Carib-Bean’s coffee is roasted in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. The company also offers a variety of single origin coffees from different countries, as well as a decaffeinated coffee.
One of the key initiatives that sets Carib-Bean apart is their dedication to minimizing environmental impact. The roastery has taken significant strides to reduce plastic waste by designing tin cans with minimal plastic usage, providing customers with an eco-friendly coffee packaging option. As part of their environmental stewardship, Carib-Bean also donates a percentage of sales to the Sea Turtle Conservation Curacao (STCC), contributing to the preservation of the island's natural beauty and biodiversity.
