WILLEMSTAD - The Food Bank Curaçao put together 60,000 food packages in the period between April 1 and October 15.
The organization has also received 2.4 million guilders in six months in support from, among others, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and other donations. The Food Bank would like to thank all 700 volunteers for their hard work.
14,000 families have been helped and 100 different organizations have received food parcels. The foundation recently ceased operations and transferred all addresses to Jason Vic's Child First Foundation.
