WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW) has taken note of information circulating in news reports and social networks, in which the community is misinformed that the Ministry and its employees are managing NOW funds.
The Ministry of SOAW disputes all these allegations and confirms that neither the Ministry nor its staff have anything to do with payment or with the recovery of money that would have been incorrectly paid to certain companies and / or individuals. The Ministry is not at all responsible for the implementation of the NOW arrangement. The Ministry of SOAW therefore wishes to emphasize that they are always engaged in work that concerns this Ministry and they continue to do this in a responsible and honest manner.
The Ministry of SOAW is seriously considering acting against these false allegations through an investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
