THE HAGUE - The Netherlands is investigating the possibility of using electric aircraft for flights between the ABC islands.
This was in a letter from the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Cora van Nieuwenhuizen to the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament.
As early as 2025, an electric plane can fly 400 kilometers with 19 passengers.
The reason was the question of the Second Chamber whether the flights between Schiphol and Flamingo Airport should be performed in a CO2-neutral way in the future.
