THE HAGUE - The Netherlands has reserved an additional 23.8 million euros for support to Aruba and Curaçao.
In a letter, Undersecretary of Kingdom Relations Raymond Knops indicated that the Dutch government is in talks with Aruba and Curaçao. Representatives of each country are around the table to see how these funds are going to be spent specifically. Part of the money is intended for border control. Money is also being spent on improving the protection or asylum procedures of Venezuelans on both islands.
