The Netherlands signs aviation treaty with Belize for Curaçao

Local | By Correspondent March 2, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - The Netherlands has signed an aviation treaty with Belize. As a result, Curaçao can promote trade, tourism and investment with that country.

The treaty regulates the air connections between the two countries, such as granting the right of overflight and landing and the maintenance of scheduled air services between the two countries.

Both countries will have a large degree of operational and commercial freedom to opera flight to and from each other. The treaty also includes provisions on safety, security, prices, and charges. The treaty has been concluded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, but only applies to Curaçao.
